bushnell had to do something. they were going the way of weaver, they have lost market share and were pretty much not a factor anymore. the optics industry in particular the scope industry is either high end, nightforce, or low end. ALA the junk vortex sells. Leupold holds the middle ground. while I am disappointed that bushnell has replaced much of the elite line. the fact is stores were not buying product. All their awesome japanese optics weren't sold in your run of the mill stores as a general rule. In fact I have only seen their good stuff at trade shows.

Midway has these on sale for what looks like pretty good prices. Like a 3-18x50mm side focus FFP for $539. Anyone have any experience with these? Haven’t used one but about busted a gut watching this review. Especially liked the “fire starter” method of turret testing. 😂😂 John https://youtu.be/Bv7uYf5j_Bw

bushnell could have been different if they would have spent the money to market there great high end scopes. they just never spent much money marketing them.

This is true.Kind of makes you wonder what kind of profit they’re making on the low-end Chicom products. And why there is not more American-made offerings,if the market is there...
