Who all makes detachable bottom metal for the model 7 in the 308 family of cartridges that will accept a AR magazine? Specifically a 5rd magazine.

Thanks

I don't know any that make M7 bottom metal for AR mags. Are you thinking AICS?

I got my bottom metal for AICS on my model seven from PTG
Think they make 223 for AR mags but haven’t seen SR25 foot print.

AICS would be fine, something that I can throw in my pocket until I get to the stand

I'm running a couple of these and like them, especially the ability to use Curtis Custom 3-round flush fit mags (or any of the non-flush fit):

Maybe Fred can clarify, but I don't think the PTG he linked to will require inletting...or at least very little.

The Badger Ordnance will require inletting, comes with correct height pillars, and correct length torx screws....two for rear, both 8-36 and 1/4-28 depending on if you want to use the standard M7 rear screw hole or tap it out.

I would take a HARD pass on PTG, they are clueless. Either get the Badger or this model.....

Call and speak to someone before you order CDI. The owner passed away recently. Maybe someone has taken over for them.

I don't think anyone has taken the helm, it's a understandable and a shame, Mike had a great product

Well, change of plans. I received the 358 Winchester 700 from Steve yesterday, I don't think I could improve on that build.

I found an early Lightweight Bell & Carlson stock and have decided to build me a light & handy 7mm-08. Is there anyone offering steel BDL style bottom metal besides PT&G? Replacement steel bolts with either torx or allen head, rear 1/4" - 28 threaded bolt?
