I bought this Christensen Classic Carbon .300RUM on a whim, and then decided my CA .300WSM will do the job. So this one is for sale. Cosmetically, there is one small rub spot on the bottom of the buttstock near the sling stud. You can see it in the photos in the gallery. Otherwise, the rifle is in as-new condition. There are no other blemishes. The barrel has received the proper break-in.

It weighs 6 lbs. 8-1/2” oz. as pictured. Yes, it’s a lightweight! Includes 26” carbon-wrapped barrel with 1.6-ounce titanium radial brake, SS receiver with integrated rail, carbon fiber single stack magazine, and a factory Timney trigger. The stock is carbon as well, painted black with gray webbing.

The rifle shot ½” groups at 100 yards during barrel break-in, which is guaranteed by Christensen. The recoil was similar to my .270 Win that does not wear a brake….very manageable. There are absolutely no issues with this rifle. Only reason to sell is it’s sort of a duplicate caliber, and I’d like to buy something else. You know how it goes; one toy out for one toy in. I have a little over two boxes of premium ammo and a set of Warne Mountain Tech 30mm rings for sale cheap to the buyer, if wanted.

$1,800 shipped to your FFL in the Lower 48. Remember, this is the Classic Carbon….a large step above the Ridgeline in quality and features. I accept Paypal F-n-F and USPS money orders for payment. Make sure your FFL will accept this rifle from an individual, with appropriate ID enclosed. Drop me a PM if you’d like more photos. The rifle is cross-posted so timestamp prevails on the first "I'll Take It." Thanks for looking.

What are the major differences between this rifle and the ridgeline that makes this model a large step up?

Oh, and believe it or not, deer bite. Fairly hard.

The stock is lighter than the Ridgeline, it has the integrated picatiny rail on top of the receiver, the brake is titanium (half the weight of stainless), has the carbon fiber magazine versus the floorplate, and has a 1/2 MOA guarantee versus the 1 MOA guarantee of the Ridgeline. These differences aren't cheap. The MSRP on this rifle is $2,999 versus the $1,999 MSRP of the Ridgeline.

I'm going to sweeten the pot on this deal. I'm going to throw in a nice 50" cordura Christensen soft rifle case. These cases are very hard to find and very well made. They have a large zippered pocket on the front, and wide velcro straps inside to hold your rifle. Photos attached. The rifle and case for $1,800 shipped.
