Getting ready to work on a load in my 7WSM with the 120 Ballistic Tip. If they will shoot it should electrocute schitt when it makes contact!

Numbers don't mean a damn fu cking thing, thats why a 300WSM is logically just as good as your PRC. Wink mother fu cker...

the 338 will always have some advantages with wind at longer ranges, Extreme long distance guys are typically 375 and bigger because of this.

The 300 rum which gets better when made into 338/300 has good brass options over the 338rum. The 300 grain Berger at 2800 to 2950 is hard to beat.

The prc still doesn’t trump the 300 Rum just a new mouse trap.

I guess i like the allure of factory fodder, standard mag length, 24" snout, no muzzle break in a lighter handier package without giving up much performance.

you will give up performance....220 to 230 gr of lead does not = 300

that said , I have a 338L , if starting over I would prolly go with a big 300 of some sort.....there is a limit to the performance most of us need.....

Judman do you need another rifle you won’t shoot?
I’m gonna say the 6mm is enough for everything.

You sure are hung up on a stellar build, though I never found a use for it... The prc will be under 10 lbs, loaded all up, with a 24" snout. ...

I mean, I’ve never claimed to shoot comp, I do what I do.... I hunt, and it seems to work... personally I’m happy with bullet tech.

No one said anything about you shooting more.
And a 24” prc is just a tiny little itsy bit better than a 30 nosler or 300 ratherby. Just a new mousetrap I’d 300 rum first given .308 as the only option but they will never replace 300 grains of .338.
