Had a decent year in 2019, seemed to fly by, as hunting seasons always do. Started in late summer/early fall with a WY cow elk hunt for my nephew and I. My nephews second elk: Next afternoon I shot one: Spent just about all my available time after that hunting sheep in NW Wyoming...26 days in all over 4 trips. Had some help on 3 of those trips from 2 good friends, and did one solo hunt as well. Snuck out between the first and second sheep hunts to help a friend from Wyoming with his first pronghorn and met up with a couple friends from Montana for a couple days. They all did pretty well: Got weathered out on that sheep hunt, low ceilings and no ability to glass. So, cut out early and on the way home found a decent pronghorn: After looking him over closely and taking some photos and with the sheep tag not filled...decided to take the opportunity.

Got some snow in the later part of the sheep season: Finally after 26 days, and with only 5 days left in the season...took the older of 2 good rams we found, 9.5 year old ram: 5 hours home:

Congratulations! That one looks hugh. What would you guess it weighted on the hoof? In reference to the sheep.

My brothers buck: I found this one and liked the width: Another look: Still have another cow tag here in Wyoming and have some friends showing up for cow elk as well...but sort of winding down for the year.

You and you4 family have had “one heckofa” good year! Congratulations on all.......especially the sheep, that’s a very good ram! Some of that country in the sheep photos looks familiar! But then, a lot of that country looks similar! memtb
