On my third devise as of today.....previous two have been Sony Blue Ray players
They both starting freezing up.....have to shut down & re boot.....about $90 a pop
So I decided to try Amazon's Firestick4K with voice remote.....so far ..wow....10 minute set up
Punch in your WiFi password and its ready to go.......Amazon registers the unit when you buy it
So all of your Amazon Prime videos/movies/shows are all there....other pay services such as Netflix...HBO etc
are there....I'll give a better update after a few days once I get aquainted with it....
Install was super simple....even with my Yamaha A/V receiver....the remote even controls volume
So if you're looking for a WiFi TV device..look here......$25 was what I paid...Considered the Roku also....
U Tube..........not me...........................................

I have ROKU on all three TVs. I like old movies and westerns, TV detective shows, etc. Tons of free channels, but they have commercials.

10 or 11 Roku’s here. YouTubeTV for us now. Firing DirectTV was a great day and saved me a couple hundred a month

if you have an amazon firestick, spend a few hours on Troypoint.com it will educate you about what you can do with it.

Yes, but it's a bit limited. They have a news channel that gives you news from all over the country from various local stations.

I have an almost 2 year old fire stick. The new 4k is the shizzle, from what my friends tell me. Plus you can buy additional storage for it, which makes watching the larger streams easy.

Have two Rokus and a “smart” tv. For some reason we haven’t canceled DTV yet as we watch more stuff by streaming.
Yup.

Well, I sorta got it: 14 channels of “over the air” TV and a Google Chromecast to send stuff from my phone (on WiFi) to the TV screen.
