It is actually a Remington 700 7mm-08 youth which will be disguised as a 7-30 Waters. Their shots will be limited to 100 yards or less, at least to begin. Our mature does will average a little over 100lbs dressed and our mature bucks will push 200. I’m thinking recoil on their hunting loads will be about like a 30-30 which they should be able to handle fine. I’ll work up loads with several 120’s I have also.
