In true rifle-loon fashion, I have a set of old Warne Premier 30mm rings that I want to use on a nice semi-custom Remington 722. So I’m looking for a scope to use with the rings. I want the scope to have traditional (non-tactical) looks. This seems like a tall order for a 30mm tube scope. I’m a little late on the Artemis scopes that CL had, and the best I’ve seen is the E1 Burris 3x9, but I’m not crazy about the ballistic plex reticle. Any suggestions?

Leupold VX3 line? Unless you don’t like the gold ring.

Don’t know what power you’d like.... you might be happy with the VX-R series. I’m impressed with the 3-9 that came on a rifle i picked up. This week i looked through a 4-12 at a LGS. Might have to try one of them too.
