Has anybody mounted a swfa 2.5x10 in Talley lows on a SA fieldcraft? Rifle in question is 243... Just got my first swfa ultralight and was wondering if there would be any issues with ring spacing or eye relief Thanks
She never made it past the bedroom door, what was she aiming for...? She's gone shootin..

Ring spacing will be fine. Eye relief......you'll just have to try it.

I have one on my Kimber and like it so far. It isn't the best but it is cheap and light. I don't think I would use it 10X but I could if really needed to.

Pic rail and 30mm rings should solve any ring spacing issues, since you can put them wherever. Not as trim, but neither is that scope.

If you accept the scope as a 2.5x10 range scope and a 3x8 or 3x9 hunting scope, the eye relief is fine. (Honestly even that has more to do with clarity and eye box than eye relief) Setting it up I decided to err on the side of caution, and kept it as far forward as would give me a full ocular image. But in hunting with it for over a week recently, I found it a teeny bit too far forward for my heavy hunting coat and backpack shoulder straps. I need to move it rearward ever so slightly, but as you can see I have plenty of room to go back yet. (ETA: maybe "plenty" is misstatement , a little over a 1/4", which is plenty for what I want, I want to be able to shoot easier from a reclining position as well as upright.)

Thanks for the responses.. I do have a rail and low rings on the way but was just curious as to an alternate setup should the rail/ring combo be a bit high.
I’ve a gaggle of 30mm swfa scopes and the ring spacing there is more forgiving. Have not played around with the ultralight before and figured the fieldcraft was a good enough place to start..
6969... that pic sheds some light for me, thank you
