So, I found the gun in the title, used and am interested. Gun looks to be 90-95%, the worst a ding in the wood near the tang from another shotgun falling against it. A few other marks in the stock and a few small rubs on the metal. Comes with a case and 2 extra chokes. Locks up tight. What’s a real world price? Thx!

$900-$5000+
Price would depend on the actual model (Citori is like saying Ford pickup truck), grade (higher grades are worth more), barrel length (shorter barrels less desirable), choke type (Invector, Invectors+, or something else), originality (add on recoil pad or other alterations), number, location, and depth of "dings", how much/badly the metal is worn, region (some areas have higher/lower prices than others), and motivation of buyer and seller.
It would have to be a pretty spectacular gun to get me to pay more than $1200 for a field grade of any model. But then I am not in the market for a 20 ga Citori so my motivation is kind of low.

Thanks for the response. There is no grade designation so I’m guessing it’s a Field. There is some engraving on the receiver, which is blued. Gun is located in NW Washington. Barrels are 28”, Invector chokes. The biggest ding in the wood is about 1 1/2” and looks to be from the rib of another shotgun. It’s priced at $1500 which I thought was a bit high.

A "ding" that size with other dings and metal wear would rate less than 90-95% in my book, probably closer to 80%. If the larger ding is very shallow I might consider $1200 at the top envd with $1000 tops if it went through the finish. I would drop the price another $100 or so for standard Invector chokes rather than the later Invector+ chokes.
"Grade" is determined by the figure in the wood and a difference in the engraving. It sounds like the gun in question is likely a Grade I.
"Model" is often described by designations like Hunter, Sporting Clays, Trap, Skeet, XS, XT, Lightning, Upland Special, Superlight, or other descriptions. They generally have differences in the stock and often in finish or receiver material. One can definitively determine this in the serial number if not impressed into the bottom of the receiver.

agree $1500 is too high. I never had a 20 but had a 12 for decades, and liked it. Down to user-uglies now, I won't go after pretty ones any more but I did own a few back in the day.

$800 Max....if it is a standard with dings and metal wear....You can find pristine examples for a little more.
Addition: I've seen real 90-95% examples go for $1000-$1200.

Woodmaster-thanks for the info. It only says Citori underneath the receiver.
Sounds like my gut was right as to it being priced high. It’s on consignment so don’t know if there’s any room to negotiate.
I appreciate the responses!

Most of the guys at the skeet club shoot Citoris (the club gets a special deal through browning) and I don’t even know how many different models I’ve seen through there. There’s a huge range in prices of the new guns from $1k-5k. Most of the guns I find on the shelves used though are marked around $800-900 with higher end versions usually around $1500 depending on the condition and whatnot.

I appreciate the responses! Thinking that if possibly it is a “Feather” model, that number would be closer.
