I always enjoy seeing pics of how folks from different parts of the country hunt. A spot i hunt with my dad is 97% pine cutover with a power line thru part of it. Had to re do the walls on this stand. After about 10 seasons it was getting rotten. Plex windows. Awnings. Pretty comfy on nasty days. Green plot. Dur

Nice!, My buddy and I keep talking about building a couple on his farm. I bet it's nice on rainy days,up here snow,sleet messy days

That spot looks great! It’s a good one for sure! You have to stay on your toes there though, it’s one of those spots where you see a lot of deer, but when they come through there they are usually moving pretty fast.

I’ve hunted a few places like that.
A stand called the “safety” stand. Long story short, buddy came to hunt, but couldn’t pack his rifle to work ( mil base). Borrowed my savage. Big buck came out. Clicked the safety up. Once.....
I never did get a deer there. Was heavily handicapped for a lefty shooter....
