This, in spades. And, for a conservative and great hunter like me, too. Sheesh. You'd think he was a Texan.

I was out swamping horses in the mud today.
We are more alike than different Jim.

It was all the kids and wife could do to leave them horses alone today.

Finally, the wife couldn't stand it and she jumped on my daughters horse and rode her out of the haylot.

Kinda makes me wish I had another horse.......

I stay busy enough keeping their tack fixed and maintained.

We have a good herd of them here.

The National Forest is basically giving them away.

You want I should hook you up. Tough stock, living up here on the steppes of the Modoc.

People give Kentuckians schitt for being Kentuckians,....but Kentuckians don't givva fug.

Kentuckians know that the people giving them schitt live in a schitthole.

I've had people from Michigan try to give me schitt about being a Kentuckian,......as if Kentuckians don't know about Michigan.

Kentuckians built Michigan. Then it went to schitt and they all came home.

Now,...the people in Michigan who didn't have enough sense to leave mean mouth the Kentuckians who packed up and left.

So where did you live in Kentucky and where did you find that was better?

Too many. There's probably 50 Thoroughbreds within a quarter mile of me. My Labrador keeps rolling in their schitt.

I'm tired of having to give him a bath. Come haul some of these horses home with you.

You must not have been a member of the Cornbread Mafia if you disliked Bardstown.

In any event,....God's country can be found 90 miles east of Bardstown.

You didn't have to roam the world.

Born in KY in 1964. Grew up there in a family of old school Kentuckians. I chose to roam the world, no place in Kentucky can be considered Gods country. Born there, raised there, left for a reason. It's a big world out there. I have walked all over eastern Appalachia and found nothing to keep me there. Seen baptism in a creek, poor people on a couch on the front porch waiting on the government check. Remember the shootings that occurred in the coal fields when people crossed the lines. Nothing but hard times there. Cornbread mafia? I probably have drank more with them than you can imagine. Not going back to that, there is a better way out there.

I was born north of there a ways in Ohio.

Family roots reach into Covington and Maysville both and add in West by God Virginia on my father's side.

Left Ohio and that part of the world 1 day after graduating from college. Never looked back. Never considered going back. Suppose I could now that I am in a decent place financially that I could have some freedom to get away to where I really like to be via vacations and hunting trips. But I do not see that happening. Live in the west. Cannot really imagine living anywhere else and I have traveled and worked pretty extensively across the country.

No thanks. About the only thing worse than an appaloosa is a TB.

I think we all catch a little schidt about what state we're in. It shouldn't be taken seriously. I think most of us are cut from the same cloth even though probably no two of us agree on everything.

It really is a shame what's happened to Cali. It affects all of us negatively, especially those residing within its borders.

That's the definition of a Californian.
