So using as the basis for a custom doesn't make a lot of sense, for the price it'd be cheaper to trip and buy another if you were having accuracy or mechanical issues with it.

Damn, that's out of the box thinking.... Pretty wild. These days I'm almost surprised to see them chambering .243 much less a 6mm. They oughta go full old school and chamber the Swift.

Ruger has always offered chamberings others wouldn't. 6PPC, 405win, 30-40 Krag, .357 and .44 mag. in multiple rifle platforms, 256 win mag in handgun... Last edited by jackmountain; 12/09/19.
