Spring steel coil is bend inward on one of mine so the window isn't tall enough to see out of. Improper storage caused it I am sure.

Any way has any one had this happen and been able to rebend ther spring back in to half way decent shape or is useing that window done for?

No problem with mine, other than it is a royal pain in the ass to fold up.

Hahaha! I know! And it's even more fun in the rain, in the dark. You struggle, and all of a sudden, it works. Easy. I keep telling myself I need to practice more...but I don't.

They usually suck. We use a few of them for deer and turkey hunting. For some reason this year the stars aligned and it closed up right

Improper folding technique. You can kink spring steel but it is very hard to unkink or reform. I have killed many, many animals from my Dog House blinds.

I have a doghouse and my father has a outhouse. Shower rods are the only thing we have found that keeps the outhouse up for any length of time.

The other day my father walked up to his and it was flat on the ground again so he put it up and looked out the window at a doe that was watching him put it up. He shot her.
