Ashland County, Chequamegon National Forest, trail head. Jackson County, Black River State Forest. HWY 54. You're Welcome At My Fire Anytime

And it’s driven by wolves, you are right on the money. Happens with deer here in NE MN along the north shore. Deer have learned they need to stay close to civilization to survive. I've seen them in Ashland Co pretty regular and Sawyer Co about 3 times. We used to see them a few times a year in Ashland Co, while scouting for deer, or grouse hunting. Camp is where you make it.
