i wasn't gonna mention this, but kind of feel like i have to.
after reading some of the remarks on these posts, i put a check in the mail today.... to a christian/jewish relief organization.
best thing i have done all week.
thought a few would enjoy the notion that their drivel got me to get off my butt and contribute some money.

I learned that back in the 1950's & 60's....... Back when there were people here in the states who had been in Germany during the 1930's and saw it all happen. And Hitler and his supporters did it all without breaking any laws. The more power they gained, the more they changed the laws to suit themselves and their lust for power. They gradually conquered Germany through legislative means. But don't take my word for it..... Just Google "Enabling Act Of 1933"........ And that's just one example of many other similar things. It really is frightening to think of that saying about how history repeats itself.

Really odd that a Jew would promote gun control when, word is, it was an enabling factor in the Holocaust. Maybe he knows something we don't? Sounds like he's planning a holocaust of his own.

You think a small minority of citizens would have faired better than a foreign military? I am obviously a supporter of gun rights but I think this idea of stopping the holocaust with Jews having been armed is unrealistic and has become cliche.

About 6,000,000 (six million!) Jews were killt by der fuhrer and another 2,000,000 (two million!) fled the country and another 200,000 (two hundred thousand!) were liberated.
Out of that 8,200,000 (eight million two hundred thousand!) probably 3,000,000 (three million!) were able bodied males if those 3,000,000 (three million!) had GUNS and used them, the ss and the nazi army would have been seriously crippled!
And the holocaust would have been diminished to the extreme.
Saving probably 3,000,000 (three million!) or 4,000,000 (four million!) people!
Yeah try to envision a hoard of chi-coms coming to my door to disarm me or drag me off to some foreign rice paddy - MARK MY WORDS, I would find a way to take out 20 (twenty!) or 30 (thirty!) of them and several of their vehicles!
I plan on being armed and ready to defend myself for the rest of my life.

I don’t believe those population numbers but even if I did, they were throughout Europe not just in Germany. Jews from Poland, Ukraine, Russia, etc. all had the ability to fight the Nazis with weapons and it didn’t stop them.
Keep in mind that the German Jews were a hated minority. There was an official propaganda campaign that had been going on for years before the war and the holocaust. At the core of that campaign was the message that Jews were disloyal to Germany. Taking up arms against the German government would have allowed the Germans to murder them publicly and with the support of the public instead of surreptitiously doing it in camps.
Even with our right to bear arms, a group of citizens with rifles is no match for the U.S. military. I am glad he have the right to attempt to defend ourselves but a few rifles would not be if much use against tanks, fighter jets, drones, guided missiles, and hundreds of thousands of well-trained troops with unlimited resources.

I've been watching the Netflix documentary about the Nazi death squads of WW2. There were relatively few instances of the Eastern European Jews fighting back and attempting to protect themselves. Most went willingly to slaughter like little lambs. The Nazis led them to pits, ordered them to strip off their clothing and stand still in order to make a better target.......and they did. They might have killed me too, but it would been a shot in the back with me trying to get away, or at close range trying to fight back.
So, it appears to me that Jews, at least a lot of them, believe in the people not having a way to defend themselves against totalitarian governments who wish to kill them. That being the case, it is not my intention to trust ANY Jew to tell me what to do.
