Used my 260 rem with 117 grain hammer bullets. Shot a bit high, caught a bit of spine and lungs. He died very quickly. Got 72 lbs of meat off hi, which is pretty nice for around here. ......the occasional hunter wielding a hopelessly inaccurate rifle, living by the fantastical rule that this cartridge can deliver the goods, regardless of shot placement or rifle accuracy. The correct term for this is minute of ego.
