Got a new Lodge 6 quart enamel cast iron dutch oven.
Best part, it's made in the USA!
We tried it out last night, cooking a tri tip roast in it.
We put it on top of the stove and cooked away for 2-1/2 hours.
Our roast came out perfect!
The even heat of the cast iron seems to work really well.
Hate to admit it, but I bought it at Wallfart.
Just under $40. GREAT addition to our cookware.

The box must have been made in the USA, because that's what it said on the box.
I read my instruction book, and it DID say made in CHINA!
What a crock of SCHIT! It dose work good even if made by a bunch of third world chi comes.
No wonder Wall Fart sells them.

They are made in chineeland for Lodge, to Lodge specs.
Differenter than simply marketing chinee crap.
You could have just bought a frenchy Le Cruset for near 300 bucks!
Cue sse.......

Also, it’s backed by Lodge’s great customer service.

Nice, but enameled iron has advantages in certain circumstances.

They’re just considered the leaders in the industry. and the only option I’m aware of for enameled CI besides China. Even other French/Belgian companies wares are enameled in China, along with lodge. I found a vintage BSR enameled DO awhile back for $80. Should have snagged that one.
