Three primary goals drive the Washington-based human-rights group Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (JPFO):
Destroy so-called “gun control” (code words for disarming innocent people).
Expose the misguided notions that lead people to seek out so-called “gun control”.
Encourage Americans to understand and defend all of the Bill of Rights for all citizens. The Second Amendment is the “Guardian” of the Bill of Rights.
Founded by Jews in 1989, JPFO initially aimed at educating the Jewish community about the historical evils that Jews have suffered when they have been disarmed. So-called “gun control” is a deadly lie. Firearms registration lists lead governments-gone-bad straight to gun owners. Licensing and registration of guns has resulted in outright banning and confiscation over the last one hundred years of world history. The bloody results of these mass citizen disarmaments have been horrific.
Based on this insight, JPFO broke new ground with the award-winning documentary Innocents Betrayed. In this powerful film, viewers learn the dirty secret of "gun control": how governments have historically deprived people of firearms ... and then murdered them ruthlessly. More recently, JPFO has made additional award winning movies. “2A Today for the U.S.A.”is probably the best introduction to the Second Amendment available anywhere. “Shall not be infringed” means what it says. Gun registration, permits, and licensing are blatant infringements of the right to keep and bear arms. Aside from being un-Constitutional, “gun control” simply does not work. Criminals ignore all gun laws.

i wasn't gonna mention this, but kind of feel like i have to.
after reading some of the remarks on these posts, i put a check in the mail today.... to a christian/jewish relief organization.
best thing i have done all week.
thought a few would enjoy the notion that their drivel got me to get off my butt and contribute some money. the money is used for medical/food, etc for the old people left alone with no support network in the former soviet union. Reagan even endorsed this program. in the 90's i got a letter from my mother's cousin, last seen by my mother in 1914. An old lady, she needed money to buy a tombstone for her, husband, and children in present day croatia. Her husband, children had been killed during WWII. Not an uncommon story. they were in the Bosnia area at the time of the then war. Lots of older people in central europe, no children, no family after the war, an indifferent government or governments. it's a different world than in the U.S., in the rural villages. I can remember my grandparents eating congealed grease in a roasting pan with a ham in it, on black bread. My grandfather talked of the starvation in his village every winter in the old country. There are still holed soviet tanks sitting in the fields surrounding my grandmother's village. Not everybody faces this, in the cities much has changed, but in the rural countryside, being old, with no family, can be pretty tuff. As to why jews didn't fight back, some did. but as a very good friend of mine, now deceased, said in a conversation we had at one time, it just didn't seem real that your neighbors you had lived peacefully with for many years would turn on you the way it happened. He lost most of his family in poland during those years. I am not jewish, but my half sisters grandfather was a russian/polish jew. My eyeopener came this last summer researching their family name. they all became dead in the summer of 1944, at a place called auschwitz, about 60miles from my grandmother's village. And seeing a picture of a group of people after coming off the train at auschwitz, being separated left and right. In that picture was lucy. My sister died a few months ago, but she remembers a distant cousin in calif named lucy, probably named after this woman. I made a promise to my now deceased friend, it will never be honored now because he is dead. but if those conditions in europe were to come here, we would die together in my house, i would never forsake him or his family. Then there was buddy, another deceased friend/coworker. He was a little guy, a jew, he spent wwII in iran working for the O.S.S. His widow, also my friend, ended up in a jewish retirement home. Those tattoo's on her arm were what they were. One part of my family is slovak/croatian. The other is north german. And about 75 members of that side were members of the national socialist party in germany prior to WWII. And a number were high up in the german military and/or government. quite a contrast having that background isn't it? And contributing to a jewish relief organization. jews are just people, some are bad, many are good. it is not right to condemn whole groups of people for the actions of a few.

I don’t believe those population numbers but even if I did, they were throughout Europe not just in Germany. Jews from Poland, Ukraine, Russia, etc. all had the ability to fight the Nazis with weapons and it didn’t stop them.
Keep in mind that the German Jews were a hated minority. There was an official propaganda campaign that had been going on for years before the war and the holocaust. At the core of that campaign was the message that Jews were disloyal to Germany. Taking up arms against the German government would have allowed the Germans to murder them publicly and with the support of the public instead of surreptitiously doing it in camps.
Even with our right to bear arms, a group of citizens with rifles is no match for the U.S. military. I am glad he have the right to attempt to defend ourselves but a few rifles would not be if much use against tanks, fighter jets, drones, guided missiles, and hundreds of thousands of well-trained troops with unlimited resources. They were disloyal to Germany. They worked in concert to take over and control almost everything, just as they have here. They were essentially starving the germans out. Here, they want to take our guns and let the muzzies, blacks and browns take us out. Correct - you can't turn a country full of smart people against good hardworking honest people . The german people had already had enough of the jews BS underhanded crap when the ball got rolling . A small number of people are waking up after seeing daily for years who the freedom stealing backstabbers are but the masses are brainwashed with the liberal coexist mantra and won't stop riding the fence no matter what . Come on some of you mouthbreathers - ask why people hate all jews - nobody said anything hating all jews - i prefaced my post with that to slow the coexisters down Theek , It appears you're unfamiliar with 'gorilla warfare' .

I am familiar with it. I also know how powerful the German military was. Do you really believe that the Jews could have overpowered the German military with bolt action rifles? I agree that the 2nd Amendment is a deterrent to despots but it is more than that. It gives us the right to defend ourselves from violence without being dependent on police. What I don’t believe is that a right to bear arms in Germany would have saved the Jews from the Nazis.
