New to the world of travel trailer headaches. Are the smallish 12-volt solar trickle chargers effective? Just want to keep two onboard 12-volt batteries charged. No plans to run anything other than the carbon monoxide and smoke detectors that are hard wired and always on. Would like to avoid running my snow blower over an extension cord that would have to traverse the driveway.
I already have a controller wired into the panel plugin.

I am..........disturbed.
Concerning the difference between man and the jackass: some observers hold that there isn't any. But this wrongs the jackass. -Twain

They keep deer feeder batteries charged. I’m sure they will work for you!

Back when I bought my truck camper, the solar panel offered by Lance generated 10 watts. That's enough to keep the battery charged during summer months as long as all I used were the interior lights and the ceiling fan. Now, the same size panel generates at least 95 watts. E

I had a cheap one for my old work truck. It worked well for several years the gave up the ghost. They seem to have a limited lifespan.

Troops:
Appreciate the kickbacks. Given we're near the 45 parallel and beneath the brilliantly gray Oregon sky, I'll order up a 20 watt unit for Cookie. The lady has everything, so this Christmas stuff is getting tough.
Thanks again,
