There is a 99F coming up for auction soon whose serial # is just 6 units away from a gun I bought this year. Considering that I only own four 99's presently, I thought the odds of this were pretty astronomical. It got me to wondering. Does anyone in this forum have 1899/99's with extremely close serial #s?
Post script:
1) Needless to say, I will be bidding on this auction.
2) Roy should be able to guess the two possible serial #s based on his records.

If memory servers me correctly, Jed had 2 with IDENTICAL serial numbers at the 2007 fest. They were for sale, can't remember what they were or how much they went for.

how about dyslectic? 6247 and 6274. They are 1895's. One 26" half octagon and one 22" octagon. Both with a number of custom features.
