Wouldn't a "5.6mm250-4000" be sort of like a 22-250?

Yes!

Or how about 22-4000 Creedmore?

The possibilities are endless.

Im not saying anything wrong with the 6.5 CM ....I have ine in a savage bolt action and shoots quarters at 100 yrds ................But to put in in an Commemorative Anniversary Model with a 250 ,300 savages then throw a 6.5 cm in the mix just seems odd

I agree the 6.5CM seems out of character for we curmudgeons, but I bet it sells. And you know the company is all about "bet it sells" especially to a younger crowd. Either way its a nice "Merry Christmas" from Savage Arms!

I have to admire them for offering choices. Unlike the 75th anniversary gun in .308 only.

If you go on Graf and Sons they list 53 loadings for the 6.5 Creedmore. From 90 to 147 gr. Big with the long range shooters...and that is a $$$$ eating sport that is becoming very popular around here.

Got to cover your bases when the game is to make a profit. Most of the young ones don't know what a .250 or .300 Savage is.

Would be interesting to know the number sold per caliber when production is done.

So how many of you got one headed your way for this Christmas?
Not me as bought tractor with bucket in October. Used 4 times already as we have as much snow already as most of last winter.

Sounds like you picked a good year to buy that tractor. smile

I'll stick with buying the old 99's although the price on the 110 through Bub's is pretty good. I wonder if the wood on all is as nice as in the photo?

There’s a bunch listed on gunbroker for about same price as well. Better than the $1499 Savage was quoting.

Just doing a ruff count on GB (they list from 1 to 10+ in each posting) there are around 300+ available. I only saw 3 in .243 and none in .308. Most in .250 then .300 and 6.5CM.

It's a 125th Anniversary 110.. so only for the year 2019, and they were only going to make 1894 of them.

Given that it has been close to a years since marketed...are there few .243's and .308's because of low production numbers or because they sold out first and the others are the hard to sell leftovers? confused

If I may ask, where did you buy it? Wondering if they already built out the allocation?

I like that Savage did not put any gold on this rifle, like the 50th Anniversary 110 they produced in 2008.

I would love to have one just to look at but it is not in the budget right now, and in my limited experience is seems these commemorative rifles don’t hold their value any better than a standard model.
