Hate to do this but need funds to pay for a moose hunt. Metal work by Craig Click here in Kentucky. Husqvarna 1640 type small ring Mauser action. 3 position safety added, Timmey type trigger (think it’s a Timney but could be another brand), Shilen 1-9” twist matching factory 1640 contour but cut and crowned at 22”. Sitting in a McMillan Edge fill, Sako hunter pattern. Cerokoted including the Timney Ultralight rings. Less then a box of ammo through it.

Now the bad, guy I sent it to for stock and paint work did a horrible job with originally planned 1909 bottom metal. I’ve opened it up for factory Husqvarna 1640 aluminum bottom metal but the bottom metal Needs to be beded and coated. 1909 bottom metal not available, was sold long ago.

I just pulled it apart and apparently I have already bedded the bottom metal. Now that I see it I vaguely remember doing it, as I said it’s been in the safe a good 10 years. So it really looks like a quick clean up and coat/paint of the bottom metal and it will be good to go. It’s just cosmetic though, you can run it as if you like.
