I don't have many right now a 45/70 and a .450 Marlin.
I would like a .405 Winchester and a small bore .375 H& H.
The great big .40 and .50 caliber belted magnums seem like too much of a good thing. Old Sawbones has a say in any further shoulder reconstructions-yeah, that's plural.
When they speak of bone crushing rounds, it is generally our bones they are referring too.

we once shot bull frogs with a 378 roy. turtles with ruger #1 in 458. and everything with 4570.

My extended family didn't believe me when I told 'em to bring everything for the 1st annual family PD hunt. 10+ years on I've got nieces and nephews reminding me not to forget the 400 Jeff and the H&H. They luv shooting those two...

My one and only big bore now is a double H&H 500/450 3 1/4” Magnum.
Then I step down to 404J and a few H&H 375’s, Belted magazine and Flanged double.
Need another big bore!

Yessir, I love em but know my days are numbered. 8 Bore 577 Nitro 505 Gibbs 500 Nitro 50-110 WCF 375 AI 458 Win Mag 400 H&H 416 Taylor 375 H&H All listed from worse to better on the recoil scale, I will enjoy them all as long as I'm able.

Only one “big-bore”, a 45-70. We do have a couple of full-time use “medium bores”.....a .338 WM and a .375 AI! memtb

I have the following: 458 win mag built up on a Pattern 14. With 5 round capacity due to unaltered trigger guard and other modifications. Win 1886 45-70 CGH marked, H&R 45-70 single shot, Martini Enfield with frozen firing pin and other problems. Last time i looked thats all i have... Mel

In no particular order; 450/400, 500 BPE, 45-90, 45-100 and I guess the 11.15 X 60R could fit if based just on bullet diameter.

In cartridge rifles? 450/400 45-70 45-90 577/450 475 Linebaugh 50-90 It's funny though, when I think of "big bore rifles", I think of guns and cartridges I don't own, not my own.
