I will do just that! I had a Remington Versamax that was shooting about 1/2 pattern left at 25yds. Now I take all of my new shotguns to the pattern board and shoot them with all supplied chokes at 25 yds.

The choke designations on the supplied tubes are no where near the standard choke dimensions. Standard IC should be .610" and the Mossberg IC measures .618" and their MOD measures .608". I may end up buying a few Carlson's to use in this gun, but I won't know until I hit the pattern board. Or I may just ignore their designation and go by dimension.

Geeez. crazy My Remington V3 patterns to the left as well. You just never know what you’re buying.
