I went with Wildcat Composites for mine. Stuart can make whatever you want.

For me, B&C stocks are thicker thru the wrist than I prefer. Paint finish even with webbing, feels slick to me vs HS Precision finish.

Last LH B&C stock I had, spent a goodly amount of time with a belt sander and sanding block to reduce the wrist dimensions. Then paid to have it repainted. Figured I would be money ahead to stick with HS for future projects. JMO

As a regular customer of B&C medalist stocks and owner of a LH T3 stainless, thanks for planting a relentless seed for spending close to $300 more on yet another rifle accessorie.

My 3006 tikka shoots lights out but it's the only synthetic stock that shows scratches of any kind.

McMillan’s hunters edge with standard fill(I believe it is called the Hunters Edge Sako Compact) would be my recommendation. Yes, it is more expensive than the B&C but what a difference! The B&C and HS Prec. don’t even compare.
The Tikka T3(T3X) is such a lightweight rifle to begin with that you don’t need the edge fill to have a really light rifle.

KK,
PM me your phone number and I’ll text you some pics of my LH Tikka T3X in the Sako Compact. It turned out awesome! My new favorite rifle now!

KK are you running a factory barrel or a heavier contour?

The McMillan is a good choice but the thinner fore end gave me more flex loading a bipod than I cared for--it would make an outstanding stalking/hiking stock.

OSU mentioned what I think is the best option- the AG Altitude offered through MPA and RHR is a mirror image of the Manners MCST which I think is a great hunting stock-- the ergos aren't so vertical and aggressive that it can't be carried comfortably but it is stiff and flat enough to get ON IT with a bipod and positional shooting... and it will fit a Proof Sendero if you are so inclined.

I’ve got the T3X factory fluted barrel.
I had mountain/sheep rifle In mind when I put mine together.

I'm going to try one of the AG Altitude for a LH 250 Savage build I'm planning. If anyone has an extra LH 22-250 T3 gathering dust, I would be interested in it.

So, if I opt for a BC stock with full bedding block, how much weight does my T3LITE ss gain? Anyone done this?

I got a B&C on order for my 300 WSM T3 figure weight gain in that will be an asset.

Stockys will only ship UPS $56 to Alaska USPS would be half that, and better service here.

OK ordered and received a LH B&C Sporter stock with aluminum bedding. For my LH Tikka T3 X. B&C Stock weight 2# 2.6 ounces, Factory Syn. Stock weight 1# 2.3 Ounce.

Test fit the stock to my 3 LH Tikkas 22-250, 6.5 Creed Moor and 300 WSM very tight initial fit. Like the feel of the stock thick wrist but wear XL gloves which fit tight. Stock lug is molded in with the Aluminum bedding block.

I had to remove the plastic guide pin on the factory floor plate for the B&C to fit. Like the feel and the look of the stock, and forend is very stiff, wish it was lighter.

Tikka 300 WSM weight with SWFA 3 X 9 Talley rings and Magazine 8# 4 ounce.

It might be the angle of the photo but the wrist looks a little too thick for me.

Looks good- slightly more vertical than the factory stock grip?

Also- what scope and height talleys are you using?

Lastly- spoke with AG Composites this morning-- they are the manufacturer of the 'Altitude' sold by Mesa/Redhawk. They are offering their Alpine Hunter and Privateer both in T3/x profiles. This rounds out the stock designs-- the alpine being a very vertical/squared 'target' stock for lack of better description and the Privateer being their lightest/slimmest (24oz) offering, very traditional style but still capable of inletting for a Proof.
