With the Alpha 6mm Dasher brass out now, I could not see a reason to mess with it. Interesting idea. dave

6.5x47 Lapua brass has been getting necked down to 6x47s for as long as that cartridge has been around....
Same performance...same bullets. Just another marketing ploy wrapped up in another cartridge with another fancy name.

Big article on the 6GT in the 2020 Hodgdon Annual Reloading Manual. It sits between the Dasher and the 6x47, says the article. Max load with 110 gr. Hornady A-Tip with a 2.600'' Col is 3,075 fps.

What's the dasher and 6x47 do with 110's?
Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.

What's the dasher and 6x47 do with 110's? Dasher with 107's (heaviest bullet in manual) max speed of 2,978 fps. 6x47 with 108's (heaviest bullet in manual), max speed of 2,996 fps.

That surely hasn’t been obtainable in the few I have been around locally. It’s already been dumped by a couple guys. To answer Jud.... My current 6BRX (Dasher twin with 30* shoulder) is running 108s at 2990 out of a 26” Hawk Hill. The 6x47s I ran were pre 110s and most everything that was put through them were 105 Hybrids/VLDs/AMaxes. All of those were north of 3k easily in 26” barrels too.

Copy, so the GT offers better performance outta the 3? I don't think I could tell based on the load data shown. I think of the 260 Rem, 6.5 CM and the 6.5 Swede...

There is a couple companies that offer Ar 15's in WSSM's including one that made the barrel for my 6DTI. Why do you gotta try and insult someone? what in the actual hell have you ever bothered to check, test or post actual results of anything. go goat fuuck in commiefornia where this stuff isn't even legal.

I forgot to mention the 35 degree shoulder on the GT... The Dasher has a 40 degree angle which makes feeding an issue... the 35 degree of the GT feeds ALOT better - so it’s got some possibilities the Dasher doesn’t. Of course my 260 has a 20 degree angle... My 6 creed as a 30...

People not knowing how to tune mags is the issue.....SERIOUSLY doubt 5* of shoulder angle is the “holy grail”, but keep buying the hype.
Funny how that first comment was made at the Bushnell Brawl by one of the founders too.

Some things make it harder / easier.... they stack.... to make probabilities higher that one might have an issue.
If I had my choice..... I’d choose easier just because it might make a happier person

I've had multiple Dashers in regular 700's with plain 'ol BDL bottom metal, and have never had an issue with feeding.
At least four of them were coyote calling guns, and I would never put up with one that didn't feed every time.

A lot of the PRS guys had problems getting the Dasher to feed - it’s not a secret... but like I said, you can get them to feed, it’s just harder than with other cartridges.
