Cousin, another guy and I got after em Friday.

Morning started out about 30° and cloudy. If anybody had asked I would have said we would do good to scratch up a handful of fish.

Cloudy, NE winds and a front coming in had me doubting.

Ended up with 3 limits in about 5 hours.

Out of 45 fish we had maybe 3 that were under 10".

Probably had a half dozen over 12" and the rest in that 10-12" range.

Nice! Some good eating right there. Been a while since I have done that and I am anxious to get into them again.

Looks a lot like the cleaning station at Bucksaw point. Nice mess of crappie there.

Ate some a bit ago and yes they were pretty tasty.

Going to cook another batch up tomorrow evening for my last meal of the year as well!

Yes jigging. 1/8 oz. gray marabou jigs. Holding them dead steady was best.

Anywhere from 6' to 16' deep in about 20' of water.
