Happy new year everyone.

I’m looking to put a Monte Carlo on my 1100. I’ve been looking around and have found a few but have some questions.

The factory rem offering looks kind of cheap and I am assuming it’s a hollow stock and I’m not really interested in it.
Does anyone have one of the speedfeed stocks and how do you like it?
I have also looked at the Boyd’s plainsman and was wondering if there is enough drop on this for a scoped slug gun.
I’m not looking to go as far as a jack west as this is not going to be a competition gun.

Are there any other options ? Internet results keep coming back with the same results. Thanks

Try to find a Remington 1100 monte carlo "TRAP" stock if you want a stock for a better check weld for scope use which is what I assume you want to accomplish.

I have a factory 1100 synthetic stock/forend set I put on my skeet gun. Pad was so bouncy I had trouble with keeping it on my shoulder for doubles. With a different pad it would be cool. I paid $75 plus shipping.
