One buck state. Bud and I tagged ours in gun. Never saw this guy all yr. Got him and a slightly smaller 8 on cam. Both this week. MZ is over and bow is done this Sunday. So barring poachers and Buicks, this guy is my target buck for 2020.

I think the big ones go 'underground' during the hunting seasons.

The eight pt just a wee bit smaller. Hope both come around in October Couple smaller ones have resurfaced. Pine farm big field over. New house built.....dunno who bought it or if pressure will help/ hurt. Have seen specific deer there, that popped up on our spot. Owner next to that does have a feeder ( proly no hunting ). Seen if from road when snow on.

Looks as if you will have a good 2020 season.
Seeing plenty of bucks on cameras here. A few have started to drop but not many. Hoping it changes soon. We are still looking for a few bigger bucks that we hope survived

Have 500 400 and 340 Goltips and a bunch of weights/ inserts. Got some Cutthroats too, so could build a high FOC for lesser #.
Thinking 47+/-1# 58" Psa

Good luck.
For us its way to early to plan on a certain deer, things change so much over the course of a summer and the deer up and move at times and aren't back for months etc..
I kind of get a better feeling, or used to at least, when I still lived in TX all year long, by about July or so. If they were around by July they would typically be around until at least September and shedding velvet. But season doesn't open till first Sat in Oct or last Sat in Sept typically, and they may or may not be around by then.
Kind of fun and aggravating at times seeing how they change where they live overnight sometimes it seems.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

Know folks that live in the area, so we have eyes out all year. Hunting pressure all around. We stay out til Nov 1. Let our little thicket be a safe zone.
Seems to work.
May hunt east side, tough, but they cross a low spot there. Cam on fence come July.
The deer in first pic about got clobbered by coworker's car, after gun season. Thats my worry. Road along side our thicket, if corn this yr........splatterville.
