Due to changing priorities after recovering from a stroke that almost killed me I have decided to sell my 1874 Shiloh Sharps Montana RoughRider in 40-70 SS.

It is a Farmingdale Sharps - s/n 8124. The barrel is 26" long and is a half-octagon / half-round and it weighs 9 pounds, 9 ounces on my scale.
I don't know what grade the wood is but it is absolutely beautiful, and my pictures do not do it any justice. The sights are a Marbles rear peep, Shiloh elevator and globe front sights. The barrel clamp sling mount is a Williams. The only flaws on the rifle are some marks in the bluing on the barrel from being carried in a scabbard. The bore is excellent and shiny. The gentleman I bought it from shot smokeless powder so there is no pitting or other issues from black powder corrosion. There is no rust or pitting on the rifle. There is a couple of minor dings on the left side of the forearm right below the sight but they do not detract in any way from the appearance or function.

Also included will be a round sight caddy with 10 inserts for the front globe sight, a little over 200 pieces of brass, some loaded ammo, several hundred bullets, a PACT loading tool and a three-die set of custom loading dies.

Asking $2000.00 for it all - shipping, insurance and tracking included.
The rifle will ship in a hard case from me to your FFL (or FFL - FFL) and all the extras will ship in a separate box straight to your doorstep.

I can take additional pictures for those with a serious interest.

If it has whipped cream and chocolate drizzles on it, it’s dessert. Grow up and get a coffee damnit

Thanks - Health is back and I'm told it should stay that way as long as I ease up on my body a little.
Lighter guns, less recoil, etc...

And the rifle is sold pending funds!
