Changing scopes on mine tomorrow. Will look for something that might be problematic at some point.

Long ago and far away, my late brother bought a very early Kimber .22, supposedly the second one that made it out the door. It left cases in the chamber too at times. Turned out that there were tiny "tits" on the extractor blades that cammed them out a trifle when the bolt went home. Couple of strokes with a file, and all was good.

I've been extremely pleased with the Ruger American Predator rifles I've owned and shot in 308, 223, and 6.5 CM. Enough so that I bought one of them in 22 LR. It was a disappointment. My 10-22 is more accurate and I did have ejection issues. The brass would extract, but unless you pulled the bolt back vigorously it would not eject. I didn't keep it long.

I did eventually replace it with one of the Tikka T1x 22's. Now that is a shooter. I paid $440 for it, and considering the huge improvement in accuracy consider it money well spent. Before buying this rifle I always thought most of my rifles were more accurate than me and that my shooting skill that was the limiting factor. This rifle proved me wrong.

Most people don't really want the truth.

They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.

Fixed ejectors rely on sufficient force for proper function. No issues like that with mine, but I work it smartly since
I'm not worried about catching the brass. Accuracy is still to be determined. There are only four loads in Mach2 right now, and the three I've tried all seem to produce flyers at times. I'll burn up the 600-700 rounds on hand before I decide if it's going to be a keeper. That aside, it's growing on me.
