Posted this over on the Winchester forum, but here would be more appropriate....Would be interested in what others have seen or know about re other good to great engravers....
Some examples of Winston Churchill from Vermont....There are others, however he ranks among the best of the best...
Jim White of Wasilla AK is one of my very best friends. He’s a talented guy to say the least. And the best part is that he’s fast, like no more than a couple months fast in most cases. https://www.jimwhiteengraving.com/
Nothing catches my eye more than a nice piece of walnut on a shotgun (or any gun). I can take or leave engraving. My favorite looking shotgun is my CSMC M21 O/U that has an exhibition grade stock and a plain, polished, blued receiver. I love that look.
Geoffroy Gournet did my custom 2 barrel Fox set in 16 gauge. Geoffroy did all of the A-1 Winchester/Parker Specials for the in house run of Parker reproductions.
This is it in the white.
Here it is after case coloring.

Good Lord! That is nothing short of magnificent! Beautiful shotgun! Thank you for sharing.........
Thanks, here are few more pictures. I decided to tone down the case color to a French Gray finish. The harsh light in these pictures washed out some of the detail. The fox, for instance, has fur that you just can't see the detail of in these pictures.

ROMAC, those pictures make me think I should grind the engraving off of my 1959 Browning A5 Light 12, engraved by the late Arnold Griebel!!! I like the deep looking engraving on yours, it shows so much depth. Kind of old world like, maybe a Germanic feel to it? Simply Beautiful!

I have two engraved Colt SAA 's, bottom one was commissioned by me, the other I bought, I also have my trap gun engraved along with a custom Colt 1911. Good engraving is an art form, it should enhance the beauty of the piece, not overwhelm it. You should see the gun first, then notice the fine engraving.
