One was biggest damn bull I’ve ever seen! Big blue bastid he was. Only Saturday. If young son wants one he may still get his chance. He saw 2 cows but over on neighbors place. Low fence. Never know. He also had a good buck come out this more. But he was moving back and forth on sendero too fast to get a comfortable shot. He has two Husqvarna 640’s ( 30-06 & .270) and a 94 Win carbine in .30 WCF with him. We’ll see. Hell, Im done for weekend. Except mebbe some quail. Model 12 is with me. If things ever get bad enough for a real shooting war I wouldn’t mind having KW in my fox hole...besides he smokes a pipe too and I could bum some ‘baccy off him. “My horn is full and my pouch is stocked with ball and patch. He did a pretty dang good job, being the hydrostatic shock from the head wound didn’t make his work any easier. I gotta figure out a way to mount it on something Where it won’t come all apart. I shot my first Nilgai with my 1895 .405 WCF and 300 grain bullets. Here is a pic of my second on taken with .405 Simson Suhl double down near Hondo right after 5 inch rain.
