Hey, how have the new magpul mags worked with your RAP in the magpul stock? So far this is the only post anywhere that I have seen that suggests they work together. I have spent 6 months trying to track down a magpul hunter stock to throw onto my RAP 223 so hoping the wait hasn't been in vain. Thanks!

I recently purchased both the magpul hunter stock for my .204 RAP and the .223 magazine they offer. My factory stock and magazine were so sloppy the cartidge would nose dive forward when the bolt engaged the cartidge. I was going to sell the rifle at a loss because it fed so hard. I just hated to because it shot so well. I was looking for a more affordable solution when I found the magpul stock and magazine. I'm happy to say that it feeds very smoothly now in comparison. I will be keeping it now.

Late reply here, I just saw your post.

The magazines work well.

At first, they were feeding the rounds a little bit low, the bullet tip not always entering straight into the chamber, sometimes the bullet would hit the breech of the barrel just below the chamber opening.

I very carefully filed the inside of the front of the feed lips to open them up just so slightly. It worked. Now feeding is perfect. If you have to do this, just go very slowly, checking feed angle between every few passes of the file. Once you file it off, you can't put it back.

I just acquired a RAP in .204 with the factory AICS 10rd mag. Also purchased a Magpul American Hunter Stock for it. I heard of potential feed issues and saw this thread and wanted to verify the function prior to working on the change-over. Have you experienced any feed issues with the Magpul 223 AICS mags feeding the 204 RAP? And have you tried the AICS Ruger magthat the RAP came with in the Magpul stock/bottom metal? This is a great resource, thanks!
