For the last three days I've spent my time tearing this rifle apart and tightening up a few things that needed a bit of 'snugging' up! Rifle is in excellent shape as for all moving parts including the lock and trigger fixtures. The barrel set was just a tat loose from the lock section so to get into the area for solving that problem the left side lock plate needed removing and the lock extracted. That procedure reveals a flanged nut that connects the barrels to the lock and with a slight tightening of that nut this removed 99.9% of the slack that existed betwixt both barrel and lock sections. The flat steel abutment surfaces that join these two sections together are not quite congruent as one plate is not quite level! Later on in the year I may tear this dude down again and use a little grinding compound to lap these two surfaces! I have not fired the rifle yet as it's been nothing but rain rain here and it'll be a while before conditions get right. I'm pleased with my purchase and it's going to be interesting to see how this dude shoots a PRB!

Good day Gents!

Awesome sharpy! You’re ready for that Kansas monster next season. ( or two!).
