Wow. There wouldn't be anything left of Virginia but Richmond. I think that's a pretty good idea. While we're at it, why don't all the conservative counties in Washington, Oregon and California split off and form their own states or maybe even one state? Let LA, San Fran, Sucramento, Potland and Seattle form their own liberal utopian commune and go for it. They can go naked and scheit everywhere they want.

Upstate NY has wanted to split off from downstate {NYC, LI} for years but the state govt. won't allow it. Several border counties have also attempted to secede from NY and become part of Pennsylvania and were also met with a great big NO from NY state gov't. We don't want any part of those liberal downstate ass holes or their fugged up gov't that they force on us up here but they refuse to let us go.

Under the "law," it's illegal for counties to secede unless (a) the counties want to secede and (b) the state government lets them secede. Check mate.
It's also illegal for states or local places to flaunt or ignore federal law, as in sanctuary cities.
And it ws illegal for eh 13 conlonies to secede from Britain.
Why not just declare your group of counties a separate state, form a militia, and prosecute anyone who pays taxes to the old state government or any of their employees who try to enforce the old state's laws in your new state?
Don't blame me. I voted for Trump.
Democrats would burn this country to the ground, if they could rule over the ashes.

They can go naked and scheit everywhere they want. counter point.. let San Fran, LA, Seattle and Potlandia form their own "island" state and leave everyone else alone... it wouldn't last long, because each one would fall finanically flat on their faces in short order.. and the rest of us could reply, "WGF???" and concerning WVa allowing VA Second Amendment Sanctuary Counties to join West VA... well, if we recall history, WVa was once all part of Virginia... The areas that would be left would be metro DC ( Fairfax, Arlington, Loudon Counties..) Henrico Richmond, down by Portsmouth and Charlottesville ( U VA) .. VA conservatives should just give those counties to Maryland...give Portsmouth to NC.... and Charlottesville... just kick out the liberals and convert UVA back to conservative... I'm a native of Old Fairfax County. VA...

We don't need a state of Jefferson really Roy... kicking out Potlandia and Multnoma County, and giving them to Washington would solve most of the states liberal loonie bin problem... get rid of the 4 big cities on the west coast, and form them into their own entity, and a lot of the social, economic and liberal policies on the West Coast would be gone for the rest of the states...

Hey, Seafire don't be talking like that. How about we trade our westside of the state for your eastside. I think that would be fair. Then build a wall down the Cascades with no gates to keep the westsiders on their own side and if there are people that want to move to the westside we will put them in an airplane with a oneway ticket. Works for me.

All they need to do is figure out how to issue CPL's to out of county residents for a fee. This will stop the other local politicians. The out of state license for side by side ORV's is doing gang buster business. They went nation wide in a matter of months.
