I just made some. I got the bones out of a Northern pike fillet. Breakfast in the morning.

I ougth to post ours ...good chit, i start by boil- ing heads back bones shells, just like iu would do with chicken or beef bones...

That Northern pike, jackfish, was not that big, some of those little bones are still with it. I eat at the chowder sort of gingerly.

I use this recipe. Pretty good but needs salt, like most recipes do to me. I’ll also add a couple handfuls of shrimp to it if I have some. Have added scallops and chunks of salmon before too. Any way I’ve made it it’s been good. https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/12732/fish-chowder/
