And hot weather.

This year has definitely been off.

One of our food plots the is in bottom land near a creek. Water running thru it. 3 or 4th time this season.

Normally a good spot for bucks.

Maybe now,ducks.

Looks kinda steep. Must have some massive footings to counterbalance that tilt.

RE. Deer and rain, embrace it and use it to your advantage. Some of the best bucks are killed in persistent rain.

We get tons of rain through hunting season. It's generally raining more than it's not when I'm hunting. We've not had a true "cold" morning yet. Really hard to hear the deer coming in the soaked leaves. Had a spike come from behind me and get so close before I saw him that I jumped when I caught his movement out of the corner of my eye. Looking forward to one of those mornings where the leaves are so loud you can hear the deer coming from a distance.

i hear ya bigdave. i'm wanting to take a few days off before the season ends but i ain't no rainy weather hunter in particular. looks like when the rain stops temps are gonna plummet for her in MS to lower 20's high 40's monday-thursday of next week.

Yesterday amd today.

Chances rest of the week. And temps in 60’s- 70’s.

Not much cold weather this season. What we did have seemed like in the middle of the work week.

check next mon-thurs. looks good and i'm taking some ahhh mental health days off work ha! lows in the 20's and high of like 48. rain coming again friday though. i took off mon-thurs and gonna hunt hard and be done for the yr.
