have an encore i bought recently, the muzzleloader barrel it came with fits great but a 243 barrel i bought on here has a slight bit of play when i close the action. is this an issue or have you guys experienced this before?
also a bit annoyed that it was listed as stainless everywhere and it's not...weathershield coating on a blued frame.

I have seen other Encore frames that have some play with certain barrels. If the amount is too great as to make you uncomfortable shooting it, sell the barrel and get a different one.
There are 2 rules to success:
1. Never tell everything that you know.

One of mine needed a 1x pin and another needed the 2x pin from Bellm. Accuracy greatly improved.

Always verify an S prefix for a stainless Encore.
