‘Pigs in the Blanket’ or Halupki as my grandmother and mother made them is a dish consisting of ground pork, ground beef and rice wrapped in a cabbage leaf and cooked in a very light tomato sauce. One of my favorites.
We knew them as cabbage rolls Don't care what you call them they were very good, also had them with buckwheat instead of rice.

And i am heartbroken when offered a "pig", and they give you a freaking "Puss Puppy" in a roll. F' you can't even get the relish and onions in the things. It's an insult to, Cabbage rolls, Hot dogs, And, Whop biscuits.
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!
