I've never loaded for it, but this might give you a few ideas:
Cartridge : 7 mm Rem SA Ultra Mag
Bullet : .284, 120, Nosler BalTip 28120
Useable Case Capaci: 67.448 grain H2O = 4.379 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 2.820 inch = 71.63 mm
Barrel Length : 24.0 inch = 609.6 mm

I run the 120NBT in my .280 AI (kissin cousin to the SAUM) with 61.0 grains of H4350 @3325 fps. Superb accuracy and works great on deer.

I ended up with 100 ...7mm SAUM cases of Nosler Manufacturing...didn't cost me anything...
never thought much of it ever.... but with the case in hand.. I sure thought it looked just right..
am looking at using it in a rifle I bought, that was unfinished...
an Enfield, that has had the bolt finished out for a magnum bolt face, but a barrel on it, brand new, but had the chamber not finished.. and the barrel has a one in 8 twist...
I think they were trying to make a 6WSSM out of it...
I'm going to look into instead having it chambered to accept the 7 SAUM, necked down to 6 mm...
its got a target profile barrel on the Enfield...but I am thinking the 7 SAUM cartridge with it necked down to hold a 115 grain Berger HP might be quite the screamer...
I like the Remington Case more than I like the Winchester 7 WSM case... this coming from a Winchester man..

Seafire- Better stock up on barrels that will be a screamer. Might be like Ross Seyfrieds 6mm Mach V he built for his dad. I think by the time he did load work up for the article the barrel was already fried. Don't recall the round count but it was something ridiculous like two or three hundred.
It may be just fine as the 6mm 06 & AI version give a reasonable barrel life at least 12 - 1,500+ or so for hunting use. The 240 Weatherby even more as long as you don't shoot it red hot.
Back to the 120 BT, they work great in the 7RM. I loaded some as a cheaper alternative to the Barnes for load work up and then tried them on some deer and hogs and became an instant believer. This was before I knew the history and reputation of the toughness of the 120 7mm. Back then I thought all BT were varmint bullets based on the very earliest BT, which were bombs.
