I drape the sling over the shifters (HLNR and 4wd) which are dash mounted on my UTV. Sling over them and butt on the floor.

Not fancy, and I didn't get pleasure of spending a dime for it, but it works.

I've got an overhead rack in my Polaris Ranger. Only complaint is the Velcro on the straps that hold the gun in place doesn't hold them very good. I've actually had a rifle to come out and bang me on the head a time or two.

I use their floor grip in my Honda and it has proven to be a good choice
