Are you getting decent groups with the 64 BSB?
I even bought factory ammo to see if Nosler can get them shooting better than I can. Terminal performance is reportedly very good. I’m not a 64 BSB fan.
DF
Same here....couldnt get them down to my satisfaction....and inch was a good day with them....I currently use up my remaining supply by shooting light loads to fireform 223AI cases...

I started and stopped with Reloder 16 and a 75 ELD a few thousandths off the lands. 3300 fps is where I ended up but it also shot really well at speeds down to 3150 fps.

Hate to hear that, I bought some in hopes of using them on game. I'll try them in my rifles but likely will use them in the same way you have.

Won't hurt to try...some have had some success with them... Another to try if you feel the need for a relatively heavy bullet is the Speer Gold Dot in a 62 Gr. I havent used any but have had very good luck with 55 gr. Gold Dots, both in accuracy and performance on game.

Bought some of the 62 grain Gold Dots too. I have a. 8" twist Tikka and a 9" twist Browning that I'll try both in.

I'm not getting bughole accuracy..but they are well under an inch, and Ive worked up a couple light loads for fur...they go through with minimal damage if you want them to.

I think they may work well on game for me. I'm not worried about fur damage.

I got a thousand Fed Fusion 62's from Rocky Mtn Reloading for a great price. I've loaded a bunch over Pw Pro 2000 in the .223 for hogs. Does good and they are very accurate, more than twice as accurate as the 64 BSB and terminal performance is about as good. BSB would be OK if 1 1/2" groups will work for you. I like sub MOA of the 62 gr. Fed Fusion (Speer Gold Dot). DF

mine's an AI version, but I use R26 with great results, accuracy and velocity with 70 RDFs I also have a couple AI versions, never even thought about trying RL26, my go to load for years has been 80gr Berger VLD's with RL19. what kind of velocity are you getting ??? Before I got my labradar my chrony showed getting 3400 with 42.4 of RL26 with the 70 RDF. Good accuracy. It seems to work very well in this cartridge with heavy bullets. I worked all the way up to 46 grains where there seemed to be a node at 3685 FPS, but there was slightly stiff bolt lift and that was at 40 degrees F.
