So here’s an interesting bullet! I ended up with 6 slip top boxes of 150 grain .260” diameter Remington bullets. All I can find is they may have been for the 6.5x70R anybody have any experience with these, or know what I could do with them? I bought them as 6.5mm bullets

Did you measure at the base and not at the crimp groove (if they have them)? Some two-diameter bullets were produced so that might be what you have. No offense intended on your measuring skills of course.

If they are .260" at the base I doubt they will be of much use in any modern 6.5 with a common .264" bore. If you aren't into one of the obscure older cartridges that could use them, maybe try the classifieds here, someone might be interested.

Is there an index code on the box?
With cartridges you have to search the Remington websites using the index code.
The trade names are just marketing (apparently)

The ones I am familiar with are two diameter bullets and larger below the cannelure. They were good bullets and have the heavier original Core lock jacket.
These were more reliable than the Hornaday 160 RN. If they are for the 6.5x70R some collector may want them. I would be tempted to shoot some just to see but first make sure they don't have a high collectors value.
