LIke FL was in the early 80's and then DE, VA, and NC.... KY and TN are the new hot in thing for Yankee retirees from the NE to go. You think KY is moving purple now? Just wait until half of Bergen, Passaic, and Somerset County move there in the next 10 years. I'm a Yankee and am getting sick of them, I cant imagine how you guys feel. Then again, I've met a crap load of home grown liberal teet suckers native to VA, TN, GA and SC so maybe its just a forgone conclusion either way. I haven't seen it. We blame everything on the Indians in our county.
Its about 50 50 split Indians to whites.
They are 90 percent liberal.
They just barely vote.
They aint the problem. Indians as in frim Bombay or the casino version? Bombay Bob around here votes GOP. Chief Texas hold 'em votes Dem. Feather Indians. Whites are a minority most times here. Voter trun out on the rez is zero point zero.

From my perspective the republicrats here in Virginia are not inspiring, dull tepid would be be an accurate description. How about Mitt Romney like runs under the republican banner but would just as comfortable running under the dimocrat, lib, progressive, socialist. banner. Don't forget Hubristic.

I will never understand the income tax angle. the places without it seem to make it up with some other tax
The townhome dwelling instead of a connection to the land seems to be the big definer Real Estate taxes, head tax, personal property tax, paying sales taxes on a vehicles value every year at registration.... Governments need money to provide the services we all expect. The money comes from somewhere, everywhere. If you own anything, and work for a living, They Gonna Get Ya.

My growing up years were predominantly spend in Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William and Loudon Counties...
I wouldn't even recognize it anymore...Loudon use to be HorseFarms way back when...
I can remember when their were still farms in Arlington County, and especially the most built up areas of Fairfax County..
Prince William was out in the booneys in the early 60s...
All schools still flew three flags out front of the Principal's Office...Old Glory, the Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia and the Virginia State Flag....and a foreigner was someone down from New York....
Feels like my youth was a 100 yrs ago, when you see what Northern Virginia has become now...

The entire town is made up of illegal aliens from Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador. They soak up every blue collar job available to U.S. Citizens, for pennies on the dollar.
