Yeah, they finally released them not too long ago and promptly sold out. They spent a good bit of time on R&D first. Looks to be a good product.
Now with even more aplomb

I’m waiting for some confirmation on how well they work. If they end up being just as reliable as the factory mags I believe the G48 will become my EDC.

I just recently got to handle a 43x and a 48. If they bring one of these out with RM R ready slide, I may just have to finally become a Glockster. 15 rounds...13 rounds...I don't care.

Being a total left brained analyst I made up a spreadsheet to compare various dimensions for a new carry gun. These forums don't format columns well but fwiw:
Firearm | Capacity | Barrel" | Length" | Height" | Width" | Slide Width" | Sight Radius" | Weight Unloaded G19 | 15 | 4.02 | 7.28 | 5 | 1.34 | 1 | 6.02 | 21.52
G48 | 10 | 4.17 | 7.28 | 5.04 | 1.1 | 0.087 | 5.98 | 18.48
P365 | 10 | 3.1 | 5.8 | 4.1 | 1 | .9 | 4.9 | 17.8
P365XL | 12 | 3.7 | 6.1 | 4.8 | 1.1 | .9 | 5.6 | 20.7
I only showed the standard magazines, obviously the G19 can be equipped with larger mags, the G48 now with a 15 round mag and the Sigs both have 12 and 15 round mags available that increase the overall height.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

I've always thought that Glock had a certain reason for making the 48 only a 10rd gun. Between that and the 4.2" barrel it was legal for sale in Canada and also optimal for those poor states that have 10rd magazine limits. It isn't that they couldn't have had higher capacity, they just didn't want it.

if only the G43 had been as accurate as my P365, I would have kept it!

I like Glocks. I really like my 48. One of these mags wouldn't be everyday for me but I'll have me one, or 2 !

There is a company milling these for the RMR, but they have to add an adapter plate, as the footprint of the optic is too wide for the slide.

I’m waiting for some confirmation on how well they work. If they end up being just as reliable as the factory mags I believe the G48 will become my EDC. Yep. Funny thing. Several years ago in a thread of dream guns, I wished for a staggered, all metal mag Glock. 9mm, with a 9mm dedicated slide. Like a G36 is lightened too much for 10mm. So, in my dream gun, I have a lighter, thinner, G19. A grip similar to a CZ-75 or a Hi-Power. With 12 or more rounds. TRH, among others explained that Glocks were already light and thin. And it wasn't a viable idea. I was fondling a 48 the other day. Thinking, if these mags prove out, it would be a dandy gun. And that the idea was so obvious, it should have been done 20 years ago.
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!

Just put in my order at Buds for an all black 43X (yes, you can get them all black now) with Ameriglo night sights. I'll be ordering four or five of the 15 round mags as soon as they catch up with demand, along with the metal mag catch. Should be the ideal concealed carry 9mm.
