I bought a bunch of it years ago and I need to buy more. I’ve read that it’s not the same as it used to be, and not as accurate. Anyone have experience with the current offering?
Thanks

In the past Wolf was repackage SK .22lr but no longer is. Try SK Standard Plus or SK Rifle Match and you will be right back to where you were.

I first read about it about being changed 9 months ago +/-. I've heard the Wolf now is repackaged Eley but I have no idea if that is true or not.

The supplier for Wolf changed a fair time back, maybe a couple years or so. That said, Wolf MT and SK Standard Plus are identical in appearance (form and head stamp) and performance.

How long ago are we calling the past? I bought my Wolf 7-10 years ago. Then it was definitely just repackaged SK Jagd - either Standard Plus or Rifle Match. IMO, forget about buying Wolf rimfire ammo, and just get the the actual SK, Lapua, RWS, Eley or other quality 22LR ammo from a knowledgeable supplier, like Good Shooting, Inc or Champion Shooters, etc. They will be happy to sell you ammo from different lots for you to test, and hold cases of those lots so you can purchase a case of the stuff your rifle shoots best.
Pursuit may be, it seems to me, perfect without possession. Robert Kelley Weeks (1840-1876)

Wolf is now made by Eley. As was said already the old stuff used to be identical to SK. I still have a lot of it left thankfully because my rifles like it. The new stuff seems to be shooting pretty good too. At least the small sample I’ve tried so far. It is made by Eley so it should be good. But only time will tell.

OK so which of the 26 flavors of SK is most equivalent to the Match Target (or extra)?
Have a couple bricks of Wolf remaining but wanting to try some SK.

Have a couple bricks of Wolf remaining but wanting to try some SK. The yellow and black box, "Standard Plus", is the SK Rifle Match that didn't quite make the quality control standards ( e.g. accuracy, standard deviation, etc...), during factory lot testing. SK Magazine is the culled Standard Plus. This sorting of parts of the product line by qc standards is true with many of the manufactures, e.g. Eley Club and Eley Target. My CZs can't tell the difference between Standard Plus and Match and shoot both very very well. Each .22 rifle seem to really thrive on one of the many choices out there, unfortunately each one seems to have it's own likes/dislikes and it's hardly ever the cheap stuff
