Oh, and don't get me started on this whole gender identity thing. I told HR that I wanted to re-identify as a black 22 yr old ballerina named Chloe and the HR lady laughed at me!

An Ortiz in Miami may very well have black DNA, seeing as most latin sorts in Miami hail from Cuba. If I were him and had a 23&me stating any percent of black DNA, I would use it and wave it around.

On the other hand, many Cuban refugees were middle & upper class and they were quite proud of their Spanish heritage, lacking any blot of black or indian. "Limpieza" it is called.

Well, based on all of his background listed in the article, assuming it is true, the guy is a human piece of crap with a badge. Having said that, it was only a matter of time before people would start asserting their "protected class" status as a self-identifying means of clouding the arena of benefits and privilege. It is mind boggling that, apparently, half of the world doesn't see the absurdity of "self identification". It's like the childhood claim of "not included!" is supposed to work in the real world. Holy Crap!!!
