I had a gunsmith to mill my R700 action to fit in a Wyatt’s 4” magazine box. I’m building a 300 RUM.
I’m using the Remington ADL Tupperware stock and needed to relief cut some of the stock to get the Wyatt box to fit. I used my die grinder to get some clearance. The box fits into the stock now snugly. I had read you don’t want the box to be tight or loose.
What would be the best way to determine the fitting of the magazine box?
Thanks

Haha ...I don’t have any loaded ammo. I’m going to the local gun shop and see if they have any ammo.
